Archery

Our archery sessions use recurve bows to deliver fun, focus, and friendly competition for all ages and abilities. Participants learn quickly and gain confidence from their very first shots.

A qualified Archery Instructor with a GB Archery award leads every session. They teach correct stance, aiming, and shooting technique, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment throughout.

Schools and youth groups usually shoot at a distance of 10 metres. This distance allows participants to develop accuracy while staying engaged and confident. Instructors adjust distances and activities to suit the age, ability, and goals of each group.

As skills improve, participants take part in scoring rounds, team challenges, and fun competitive games. These activities encourage focus, communication, and teamwork, while keeping the session enjoyable and inclusive.

Archery works well for schools, youth groups, families, corporate events, and team-building days. Groups can book it as a standalone activity or combine it with other outdoor experiences for a full activity programme.
